I believe that Elecraft used to sell a Y cable for connecting from the

I no longer see this on the Elecraft site.
Anybody have a source for these?

I may need to buy another unit for my K3. I just discovered that they are

Do I buy directly from RemoteRig? Are they available anyplace else?

I had a similar problem with my K3, using RemoteRig. It was solved by changing
to the "ic" element at no charge from Heil. This was a couple years ago, so I
don't remember how I figured it out, but I do recall that the documentation was
weak in this area.

Bingo! I had loaded the correct firmware, but it never occurred to me that
the checkout procedures for the -ACC version differed from the basic
version. Everything checks out FB.
Thanks to all, and sorry for wasting the bandwidth.

component, in fact, symmetrical so
orientation doesn't matter?
The instruction for RP1 make the point that it is symmetrical. The
instruction for RP2 is very specific about requiring the correct
orientation.
Thanks in advance.

OK, I have my K3/P3 and Navigator correctly hooked up, I think.
I am able to receive digital signals like PSK31, no problem. I cannot seem
to get any RF output using the Navigator to my P3. I probably have some
parameter set up wrong. Any ideas?

I am trying to install my new K3/P3 into my station, where I rely on a
Navigator USB interface. The Navigator has a cable for "RS-232" and one
for "ACC." That leaves no place to plug in the Panadapter.
Anybody have an answer?

OK, I will head in this direction. I am using the USB to 232 cable from
Elecraft, and it was working fine at 4800.
I will report results. Thanks for your help.

I saved my configuration, then did a reset. The result was the same. I
reloaded my configuration file, result the same. The 50 watt test gives a
similar error.
No smoke by the way.
What have I done?

It's working. I don't know what changed. I completed installation of the
KPA3, and I tried the fans again. There is a distinct difference in speeds
as I go from Fn1 to Fn4. I just didn't hear it before.
Tnx.

OK, I read the archives. The consensus seems to be that DMM's can have
inaccurate measurements in this circuit. I powered up, and no smoke.
Everything lights up like it is supposed to. Onward!
