Hi Jim,
No, the KPA500 can not be daisy chained with the K3/P3 serial connection
via these RS-232 ports.
The KPA500 serial ports are totally independent functions and are -not-
daisy chain In/Out ports. One connects directly to your PC for firmware
downloads and control via KPA500 utility.
The KAT500 will only initiate a tune based on SWR being above a threshold when
it is in auto mode. Its manual mode requires a press of the tune button on the
ATU first, followed by RF from the K3, for it to tune.

We -strongly-recommend that 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapters are not plugged directly
into the IQ jack on the KX3. They can easily damage the jack if they are
bumped, due to their longer lever arm when sticking out of the jack.
The 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable in the KX3-PCKT has a molded 2.5mm right angle plug
We are demo'ing it at the shows on an iPad1 and the 'new' iPad (AKA iPad3).

Lets end this thread at this time.
We purposely zip the beta releases to prevent the code from being super easy to
download or mistakenly downloaded. This is also to prevent people loading it
thinking it is a normal release.
Thanks for the suggestions, but we will be leaving it as is for now.
End of thread. Drifting a little far afield. :-)

The KX3 is no slouch, but the K3 will outperform it for very close-in spacings
below 2 kHz.

Hi,
This is an early heads-up for our customers that we will be increasing prices

It is not via Bluetooth. The iMic connects directly to the iPad/iPhone via the
small Apple camera USB adapter.
That would be cool if were BT!

iSdr works great as a panadapter with the KX3. I've been demoing it on an iPad
with the KX3 at the hamfests we go to.
