The base unit has been sold.
The prior posting had one error. It incorrectly stated that the high
stability time base version had handwriting on the top of the case.
This was incorrect. The base version had these markings.

I have two HP8647A signal generators. Both are in good condition, pass
the interanl self-test and are completely functional. The difference
between the two is that one is a base unit with a very recently expired
calibration (May, 2012). The other has option 1E5, which is the high
stability
I purchased a Heil PR20 microphone after comparing sound quality with
several other options. To my ear, it had a nice combination of clarity and
fullness. However, I am getting relatively low output from the mic and
consequently low drive to the K3/100. With the microphone configuration on

I just read posts on USB drivers and have another option someone may prefer.
I have an extra two port PCI serial card made by SGII (major brand). They
publish drivers for a wide variety of operating systems (I am using XP Home
and Professional, SP3), but you can check their website for Mac,
I have a late model (B054347) Tektronix 2465b 400 Mhz scope. It has had
very little use, with total hours of 4632 and on/off cycles of 511. This is
very low for a 2465b. I have seen units with over 20,000 hours. It is in
excellent condition cosmetically, the rubber feet on the back of the case
I am currently reconfiguring my workshop and have two pieces of test
equipment that may be of interest to Elecrafters.
The spectrum analyzer is an HP8568b 1.5 Ghz analyzer with the companion

calibration shop and was calibrated
I have 7 LUXO Wave Illuminated Magnifiers that were used by Hewlett Packard.
These are extremely nice for electronics work and cost $350 when new. They
have rectangular heads with large and very clear magnifying lenses and
fluorescent lights built into the head on either side of the lens.
This is my personal 2465B that I am selling because I have an 11302a that (as
long as I don't have to lift it) provides the same utility as the 2465B. The
2465B is a 4 channel, 400 MHz scope that many believe is the acme of analog
portable scopes. I have placed photographs of the scope at

This is a very nice scope and I thought I would offer it here before putting it
on eBay.
The 2337 is a 100 Mhz portable scope that includes a DMM in the front cover
that can also measure delay time. It is more compact than most Tek scopes and
is extremely rugged. It was designed to be used
The PC based scopes, such as this have remarkable flexibility. However, they
aren't a good substitute for a general purpose analog scope if you are looking
for real-time performance viewing non-repetitive data (noise, glitches, spikes,

I am trying to regain shop space and will be selling my very nice Tek 7854
Mainframe Oscilloscope with a complete set of plug-ins. The mainframe was
calibrated a couple of years ago by a lab in Silicon Valley and the 7B92A, 7A26
and 7A24 plug-ins were calibrated within a few years, too.
There is an Rohde + Schwarz probe set currently being sold on eBay in Germany.
It is compatible with a piece of R+S equipment that I own and would complete
the unit. Unfortunately, the seller will only sell for shipment to Germany or
Austria. If I purchase the unit, is there an Elecrafter in
