After a premature net cancellation by yours truly, we held the net at the
standard time and place. QRM was not a big problem. The number of check-ins
was low due to the earlier cancellation notice. We still had 22 participants
over a 20 minute period.

I am sorry for disappearing last weekend. We got a heavy snowstorm over two
days followed by an ice storm. I had 11” of snow and then thick ice on
everything. Branches and entire trees came crashing down. The were widespread
power outages. My power was off from Saturday morning until

We had a good net last Sunday with 30 participants - 1/3 QRP. A high point for
me was working W8ZT, Rick, in WV. I have been net control for almost five
years and still had not had a WV check-in. Rick completes my net WAS,
specially nice since I was born in WV.

the net. I think he was able to relay my checkin somewhere around 11:30 to
11:40 PST to net control. I could hear operators asking for QRP, portable and
mobile stations. Thank you for that approach for us little

couldn't copy my K3/10 (at 12W) working through a 2 element wire
beam at 8 meters pointed from the SF bay towards Rhode
