participants over the 25 minute net. I swung my quad north and south to
listen for WA/OR and northern California stations. Relays pulled in Roger,
W7SJ, in WA and Brian, K0DTJ, in CA. We did have KL7QOW from AK check in.

This week's Elecraft SSB net will meet tomorrow (4/11) at 1800Z on
14314 kHz. We will try to listen for those of you on the west coast
who have been having trouble being heard or hearing the net. See you
there.

We had a short and small net today. We had only ten participants, including
me. Easter probably had a lot of regulars tied up. It may not have been
helped by my quad being cranked down to about 40 feet due to high wind.
Brendan, EI6IZ, was the significant DX again. Anyway, the only discussions

The CQ WPX contest will probably make the band conditions pretty
lousy for the net tomorrow. Therefore, the net will not be run this
week. We will meet again on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at 1800Z on 14.314
MHz. Have a good contest, or whatever you do.

You do a stellar job as a back-up net control, Gus. No self-whipping
necessary.

Subject: [Elecraft] Elecraft SSB Net (3/21/10) results
I've received two corrections to the results summary for the
21 March 2010 Elecraft SSB Net.
The first corrects the spelling of Rodger's name:
N4NRW,Rodger,SC,K3,1318,M17 C10
The second corrects Arnie's callsign and adds his microphone settings.
I don't know whether the problem was with my
Today the net ran about 48 minutes with 23 participants making it into
the log.
I know we missed several callers, mostly due to S5 noise at my location
and lack of propagation to Roger, N4NRW, in SC. Thanks for your help
Roger, and my apologies to those who weren't able to connect with us
Hi Roger,
I sent Gus a note but haven't heard from him. Have you two talked
about tomorrow's net?

My apologies for a late announcement. I actually took some time away
from the computer this afternoon and just got 'round to checking email.
While Phil is otherwise occupied I'll act as third string NCS for this
week's Elecraft SSB Net. Assistance from ops on either or both coasts
Thanks to all who participated in today's post EQP SSB net. We had a
total of 26 check-ins with reasonably good conditions (A=5, K=0, and
SF=89). As is often the case, EI6IZ held the honors for the lowest S/N
and the greatest distance from the NCS. And NU4C had the highest S/N
during the net
Given that the EQP event will be finishing just as the usually scheduled
Elecraft SSB is to begin, there may be little interest. However, I'll
kick the power up from 5w to about 500w and give it a try as fill-in NCS
while Phil is away.
Frequency: 14.314MHz (+/- a few kHz if necessary)

Nothing but DX contest participants heard at this QTH at net time. Copy

There will be other days!!
