Hi Ronnie
I do not have a KPA1500 (only a KPA500) but I recall seeing posts from time

I think you will need to check in with Elecraft on the issue.

This is a classic case of CRE or Cosmic Ray Effect. No reason, just happens.

I sold the Kx3 and Px3, however I still need a good home for the K3s. It is
very clean, none smoker, and has extra filters BUT no ATU or DVR.
Serious inquiries only.

output is significantly higher than with the MH-31 alone. I'm hopeful that
it will be usable with the KX-3.

ldn't hurt either.
All of the dongles I have seen are very simplistic, ergo cheap. This
approach is a little more expensive, but it allows a greater range of
possibilities. I still stand by what I said and suggest this approach.

After mulling this over as I write this response, I come away with the
idea that a parameter in the transmitter keying menu has not been
changed to account for the amplifier turn on delay. Someone should check
that.

Ron,
Google it. I forget. It's a free download. I'm sure that you'll
have a lot of fun with it once you've gotten it running.

o and that works seamlessly with my K3
(and pretty well with my TS590 - I do have other rigs).
I guess I have been either very lucky or, more likely, I am in the silent
majority.
I am now waiting for my KAT500 to arrive. I will also probably buy the new
TS-990 when it becomes available.

I downloaded a copy of K3-EZ and tried it with my KX3. I found that it
seems to work OK, but I must say that I haven't tried everything yet.
K3-EZ seems to be a really nice utility to have around.
