As a follow-up (and conclusion) I am submitting a link to Ebay where these

This not meant as advertisement for Ebay and I hope that the posting of this
link is not inappropriate. Just a pet peeve I guess.

I have, a few years ago, seen ferrite material that was extruded into
flexible hoses. Darned if I can remember what for. Came from one of the
shielding outfits like Chromerics or somebody. Potentially, that could be
treaded over an antenna cable - but it was somewhat brittle if you whacked

I am trying to find the EMC standards for Brazil. Here are the Telebras
standards I think I need:
1) NBR 12304
2) NBR 320225
I think these standards are in Portuguese, but I would prefer an English
translation.

Bonjour de Montreal,
CISPR014 and EN50081-1 call for measurements of discontinuous interference,
often reference as "clcks". The basic standard describe a quite complex
method for measuring those but is there an easy way of finding if a

Hi folks,
I have a sample of just such a flexible ferrite loaded cable here in my
hand. I have had it for many years the intent being to use it for a
test site antenna feed. All I remember about it (and my memory is not
that good!) is that I believe it is of German manufacture. Any details

Does anyone in the group have any experiences, references, or suggestions on
having highly technical operators manuals translated from English to other

tables, and graphics.
Thank you for any responses in advance,

I have seen power cables "impregnated" with ferrite throughout the entire
length of the cable. These cables were very expensive (about $20.00 for a 6
foot cable), but were found to be very effective in situations where emissions
were seen off of a unit's power cable. These cables were used as

There is a material called Capcon, that acts as a distributed load. It works,

Hi,
If you are driving lines with fast rise times then you will still only
get external currents if the shield of the coax is leaky or if the
termination is not properly matched over the entire spectrum of the data
bandwidth. If the ferrite is lossy and spaced closely enough compared
