Dear all,
For an EUT testing under FCC part 15, if one of the communication link is
infra-red of 300kHz (or bps),others are RF, do I have to test the laser or
infra-red part? If yes, what standard should refer to?
Thanks.
Daniel.

Christine,
There has also been some discussion about the WEEE
process for non-EU manufacturers on the lead-free list
run by IPC.
I agree with Rich Hughes when he says that the
INTENTION of WEEE was to make recycling a
responsibility of the producer, not the customer.
However, there are a lot
The importer within the member state is responsible for WEEE or if it goes
straight to an OEM or the end user then they will be responsible.
BTW - what do you mean by WEEE compliant?

Chris,
1) The stated intention of the WEEE Directive was to foster PRODUCER
responsibility, not CUSTOMER responsibility - although all parties obviously
have their part to play in protecting the environment in which we live.

Not enough information given. Before you can know the standard to use for the
EU you must know the frequency and the purpose of the device. Typically, once
you know the frequency etc, the information can be obtained from REC70-03 which
