I'm trying to play with EMC2.3.0 but I've hit a snag... It's
installed on a computer which isn't connected to anything so
isn't causing any mayhem in the workshop but I can't get
started on running any simulated jobs because I can't home
the X-axis..

Thanks for your report. Another user had reported this problem on irc,
and we already have a fix for the problem that will be in the next
release.
Besides the workaround of not using G64 P-, I believe that specifying
half-circles rather than full circles will avoid the problem.

Just specifying a naked G64 seems to work well enough for me with the
SheetCam output. I only star
If you edit the post and edit out this line:
bigarcs = 1 --stitch arc segments together
then circles will have at least 4 segments.
