Chris, I just worked through this and Ubuntu did not recognize my gateway
onboard
video card. I put a video card in the pci express slot and when I booted up
automagically I went from 800x600 to 1680x1050 the proper resolution for my
monitor.

I realised I am writing to one uf the authors of emc / axis. Let me tell you I
am just excited about emc / axis and I guess I have barely scratched the

Any combination of axes is possible in emc, you can do XZUW and XYZUW if
that's what you prefer.

I have a cnc machine ordered that has two bridges. one fixed and anotherone
movable. The second bridge is for classig milling and has 3 degrees of freedom.
the fixed bridge only 2. I want to use this setup for milling and hot wire
cuitting, ie. rc model wings.
