I noticed while looking through the code of the Modules Dialog, that we
are using "assert" in some places there. I don't think this is such a
good idea :( Do we really want the whole window manager terminating on
the off chance that the modules dialog has a problem ?

wallpaper this works well - some others just wont size
Trying to optimize the usability for small screen can indeed improve user

Hi devs !
Good things first:
I've give a new try to the wallpaper 2 module after having read a post by
raster on the openmoko mailing list, and following a link to a beautiful
video showing its capacities.
I have to say that the first time I tried it I thought it was good but just
visually differe

Hello all,
I think that some modules should be disabled, at least at runtime, by
default. Things like change colors and fonts, drop shadows and few
others. What do you think? If you know of broken modules, then we can
easily disable them in configure.ac, just add "false" instead of
"true" for modu

I've noticed in the recent days after an update that *Modules* is no
longer an option in the menu. I do realise that it is now part of the
Configuration Panel which is nice. However, it was so much easier to
be able to left click, go to modules and find your module and do
whatever you wanted. I h

Hi all.
I have a suggestion for the modules configuration panel.
The current approach is to have the 'advanced' panel for loading /
unloading modules, and the 'basic' panel for enabling / disabling
modules. I think a better way would be to have all these actions on one
panel. In terms of how

Hello E developers,
I have been using E17 for quite some time now, and I am really
impressed with your work. I wonder, however, about one design
choice you made and would like to know your reasons.
Modules in E are part of the Desktop and thus below all windows.
So to be able to see and use them,

Hello folks,
Valtteri (vrln) told me that the notes module isnt working properly.
It doesnt accept keyboard input. After looking into the issue, it has
become apparent to me that this stopped working around the same time
Raster added the code that goes Alt+LeftButton to move / resize
modules. Do y
