I'm not 100% sure how this works, but you should check that your .desktop

including WM_CLASS. Copy one of the quoted strings into your .desktop file.

I'm using a truly infuriating Java app, which constantly opens new

Hi all. Recently - I'm guessing after commit
b8322b2b0e526910030907b1227dc8072d456336 - maximising *some* gtk+

size selected is a *little* too large in both dimensions, and also the
positioning is wrong. I'm have a primary LCD
Hi all.
I'm getting temporary display hangs, occasionally ( 3 or 4 times a day
). When it happens, the display stops updating, but the mouse
continues to respond to input. Everything else appears to continue
running and accepting input, and music continues to play. These hangs
happen in *pairs*,
Hi all.
I just bought a bluetooth dongle ( CSR4 ). I'm trying to figure out if E's
Bluez4 module is going to work with it or not.
I've started the bluetooth service. When the Bluez4 module loads, it says:
Bluez Error: Error reading list of adaptors.
Also if I launch the gnome control panel (

windows on my laptop's screen, even though I launch them on a 2nd LCD
screen. Changing the 'Window Display' policy doesn't seem to affect them.
I'm running E19 from git, by the way.
I have no idea what the java apps
Now that I have multitouch working on my macbook, I'm wondering if
there is any support for multitouch guestures in E?
For example, being able to change desktops by doing a 3-finger swipe
in a particular direction would be particularly cool :) To be honest,
I'm not sure if this is even possible

Hi all.
I've just installed Linux on a new Macbook ( new job, mac-only place
). I now have a HiDPI display, and I'm figuring out how to make things
work. Setting up scaling for E was easy - for the primary laptop
display anyway.
I've read at: https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/gtk-x11.html

Not exactly help ... but I can confirm that steam works perfectly on
my laptop ( intel gpu ) and server ( amd gpu, open-source drivers )
while using E19.
Try looking at your 'dmesg' output and Xorg.log ( or Xorg.0.log ... whatever ).
