This is my first time building and using it (and the python bindings),
so it may well be that I've made a hash of things somewhere along the line.

Hi,
The other day I got sick of accidentally pressing PrntScrn on my cramped

You can usually get it to work once (and once only) in a single browser

Another 'me too' post, but mine's slightly different - I lose all
keybindings, but I can still use the mouse. I haven't worked out a
reliable method to get them working again, but since I have the mouse I
can restart E.
For me it's very intermittent, so I haven't been keeping a close eye on
it. Ho

Hi,
I'm in the process of writing a module for e17 and xplanet. You can find
a few details here:
http://www.squaregoldfish.co.uk/software/eplanet/
It works pretty well, but isn't feature complete yet. Any feedback will
be welcome!

Hi all,
I've just checked out the latest SVN, and running autogen.sh on Eina

Hi all,
Just a quick note to say that Yahoo's weather site has recently changed
their URL structures, and the code you need for the Forecasts module is
no longer in the page URL for a place's weather.
You can still find the correct code by looking at the HTML source of the
weather page. Somewhere

Hi there,
I just had a random idea, so I thought I'd share it.
Currently, the Send to Desktop menu lists the available desktops by
coordinates (0,0 1,0 etc.). Would it be more useful to present a
graphical representation of the desktop layouts, as seen in the Pager
module? This would make it much

Hi all,
I have a strange feeling I'm hijacking this list for something I
shouldn't, but it's related to e17 so I thought I might as well go for
it. Rap my knuckles if I've been a bad boy.
I'm going to redesign my e17xplanet script for creating XPlanet
wallpapers in e17 (http://www.squaregoldfish.

Hi all,
Since I last updated e17 in September, a couple of weird things have
happened that I don't understand. I never really figured out what caused
it, but I've finally narrowed it down to something in the e17 setup.
First, and least importantly, the PATH variable has changed from what it
used
I solved a similar issue this weekend. I decided to get PulseAudio

Anyway, I found that running 'pulseaudio --daemonize' on login got
PulseAudio working a treat. (I created a small .desktop file with this

Hi all,
I updated e17 from svn today, and noticed that there's now a Connection
Manager module for network connection management. However, I can't get
it to do anything - all the lists are empty, and clicking on any buttons
in the Settings window simply dismisses the dialog.
Is this because:

Hi,
A couple of days ago my forecasts module stopped working - all I get is
null weather conditions. Is anyone else seeing this, and if so is it a
known problem?
My first guess would be that Yahoo Weather's interface has changed, so
the modules can't figure out its output any more.
Steve.

Hi,
I've been making some EAP files for e17, and have found two applications
with the same window class (the developers were lazy, and left the
window class as 'frame').
The icons are fine in the menus etc., but when the apps are running, e17
gets confused and doesn't know which icon to assign
