today I've tried to integrate entrance in mandrake 10 as dm but without
success.
Running entranced from a root-shell gives me the possibility to login, but
I can't figure out how to get entrance(d) to start as the default dm.
Can someone please help me with that?

I've written a small program using Etox for displaying some text.
When the text contains german Umlaute like "ä" (<- ae) it shows all text
until the first one occurs, the Umlaut isn't showed and everything
following also isn't showed.
