Last month I was in several European countries and shot about 45 rolls
of slide film (100F, Velvia). One of my favorite and best pictures is of
the Lincoln Cathedral in Lincoln England. I used my EOS 3, 17-35L, and
Fuji Provia 100F film.

Derek-I do similar work and have been very happy with my bogen 3211 and 3047
head. I also do medium format work and this tripod has been very sturdy for
that system also. Additionally, it is pretty light--not like a carbon
tripod, but not bad to carry around.
Good luck.

I'm looking to get a good tripod for my EOS 3, and 70-200L. I also have
the 17-35L, and 28-70L. I'm also thinking of getting the PB-E2.
I saw the new Bogen 3001Pro and 3021Pro, and they look very nice. I'm
leaning towards the 3021Pro because of it's higher max height. What type
of ball goes well

Okay. Sorry to keep harping on about this, but there seems so much

It's been mentioned here several times that cameras such as the

Yes, but you can extend the distance a bit by using a flash
extender. Check the archives for info on those.

Hi,
I just bought a 550ex and wonder if it is possible to use it with my
300 2.8L (on an EOS 3)?
Any problem because of the hood?
The usable distance is probably the same as with a 105 mm?
TIA,

Thanks for the information. I've noticed that photodo indicates an
effective focal length of 29 - 67mm for the 28-70/2.8L zoom

Perhaps the greatest reason for my reluctance to buy an EOS 7 is its AF

frustrated when AF (Maxxum 600 and Elan IIe) have trouble finding and
keeping focus. There is only so much that any system can do, but I wonder

The big tele's that the CF-19 works on are only those with the AF Stop
buttons on the lens barrel. They are only on 300f2.8 and bigger as I

Hi,
Anybody on the list, who had problems with the Sigma EX 2xConverter?

heard a strange noise. I opened the bag, and found two pieces: the
optics and the barrel. Very interesting to see a converter from the
