Here are the changes from the G2. Some may not see these
as "improvements."
-More angular hand
Look at the Tokina 19-35, newer version. It's good enough, though prone to
flare (more so then is expected from a wide angle zoom of this range). I
currently have the Sigma 15-30 and it works fine, though whoever designed
that af/mf switch mechanism must be smoking something!

Hi all,
I'd like to have your opinion on this matter:
My cameras (EOS 5 and EOS 50E) stopped auto-focusing
with this lens (sigma 70-200). I tried other lenses
and they work fine (both bodys and glass). The problem
is only with this zoom. The first time I attached it
to 50E the camera showed MF on
Well, I seem to set the deal for EOS 3 body and 28-135 IS.
(Special thanks to Icoz Evrim)
Now I'll proceed building up the system with the rest items:
I need 550EX flash
EOS 3 body cap
28-135 IS rear cap
28-135 IS original hood
If anybody has something for sale fro this list, do not hesitate to
Can somebody please to clarify for me what are max. aperture switching step
in zoom range of 28-135 IS ? (3.5 -> 4 -> 4.5 -> 5.6)

>What's the shutter lag time?
I can't answer for the G3 but the lag on the G2 is significant - at least
when compared to my EOS 3 :)
In the G2's defence, the lag is no worse than many other digital P&S
cameras and generally is not a problem as long as one half-presses the
shutter first. The G2
