A note on the Savage XFree86 drivers... when booting that celeron system last night with Knoppix 3.7, we couldn't get it to display in X until passing the "fb1024x768" parameter at boot time, to use framebuffer mode instead. The "savage" driver just didn't want to play nice. Conversely, the sa

Yeah, its pretty blue, I havnt even gotten the chance to boot up ubuntu on it yet... I got it with 64 megs of ram, and swapped that out with a 256'r, now she runs real sweet. comes with OS 9.? its nice because its basicly one peice (plus USB keyboard and mouse). People are always welcome to off

Oh, I know about stuff happening... because of stuff happening, I have 2 bare bones systems (previously good working systems until someone monkeyed around with my circuit breaker, and shut off the power to them.) I know some parts work, but I also am sure others are bad. so... I lost 2 ok system
