Right... so you said maybe a million times now. Don't worry it probably is
working on that.
Part of the problem we have here is the confusion between the difference of
Autopilot and FSD. While they

They could start by not creating unrealistic expectations - that is, by
calling it something other than "full self driving."

If you look online, you'll find that Tesla owners don't appreciate those
warnings and look for ways to defeat them.
One example:

Seriously? You expect them to obey that
I can't imagine that basing the decision making primarily on the fog
lines and other road paint is a good way to implement FSD. It seems that
the primary road and object identification should be through pattern
recognition of the roadway itself, using machine learning. Perhaps this
is, in

I was driving on the I-210 outside of Los Angeles this weekend, which is under
construction. They've shifted the lanes, but didn't do a good job of blacking
out the old lane markers. So even as a human driver, I found it quite
difficult to figure out where the lanes actually were. I was

All these stories remind me of the one where there was a road with a
sharp left turn. One foggy night, some kid ran the yellow line at the
apex of the "L" straight up the proverbial oak tree. In the morning,
he came back and found he got a car. Someone was following the yellow
line right up and
on the EVlist again.
Have a renewable energy day,
