Just want to offer some clarification. Before Bibliomation's upgrade to 3.6.5, if a patron's username matched their inactive barcode, they could still log into the OPAC, but the old barcode wouldn't work even though it was their username (I think because of this bug:

That's a good question. The eresources accounts are handled differently so changing the username in Evergreen won't affect those accounts. The patron would need to enter the new barcode anyway in order to gain access. If the username isn't filled out to the current barcode, they will be blocked

Hello Everyone, We contacted library directors individually on Friday with information on the issue some patrons were experiencing logging in through the OPAC. In short, older barcodes that were saved as their usernames needed to be changed to their current barcode in order to gain access.
