Here's a better idea: Since you have to punch numerous holes in your firewall in order to accomplish this task, and since these numerous holes will pretty much render your firewall useless, just save yourself some trouble. Remove the firewall from the equation completely and send it to me.

It is true that any file based scanner can cause a plethora of problems on an Exchange server. IS crashes, 1018 errors, etc., But _personally_ I have only witnessed ServerProtect BSOD an Exchange 5.5 box. I have seen other AVs do it to previous versions of Exchange. Stephen -Original Me
