I already searched at many places. Microsoft comes with one article which
seemed to be the solution. That is: deleting an object from the
transaction server. Windows 2000 places these objects in the component
services, aldo the right object to delete wasn't there.

possible instead. Routing to a different drive across the network will at

My advice to you would be to find some additional equipment and use the
"leapfrog" method of upgrading. The Exchange part is explained in the FAQ

you can write your own or rehome the public folders in question to a 5.5

I would suspect the system is replaying the queue.dat file found in the imcdata
folder. I would hazard a guess that all the messages being "replayed" if you
will are all SMTP. Stop the Internet mail service then rename/move/delete the
queue.dat file and then restart the service. This should corr

You only need to change the LDAP port of Exchange servers running on a DC.
The servers don't talk to each other via LDAP, so they don't care what port
any other server is listening on.. Or if it is listening at all.
