TP,
Do all of your users have Outlook 2003 outside your LAN, and *never*
connect using OWA from machines that don't have Outlook 2003?

To publish you Exchange 2003 server on the Internet for HTTP, how should
your DNS look to contact it?
I think I have done the pre-install Server 2003 configs and Exchange
2003 configs too.

Yes I agree that best practices dictate seperating Exchange from the DC

Hi there !
I have tried to set up RPC over HTTP
Server1 = Win2K3 and Exchange 2003
Server2 = Win2K3 (GC)
Client = WinXP and Outlook 2003 (from my home location)
I looks like everything work - but when i make a profile and try to
connect to the exchange server the username/password are refused
Yes this will work, while not reccomended, is perfectly doable in small
offices. Truthfully I wouldn't do RPC over HTTP especially since this is
your DC also.

Hi.
I think the recommendation is to keep DC/GC separate from the Exchange
box. Do you see anything

Hello
Hello,
I have heard that RPC over HTTP can also work in a non Windows 2003 only
environment.
Microsoft whitepapers state that besides EX2K3 on W2K3 you also need W2K3
on your DC's and GC's. Now i have heard rumours that you only need one
server running on W2K3 with RPC Proxy service installed
That's no rumor, I'm wearing a pair now with my leather shorts.

There is a patch that needs to be installed on the client PC.
This was the link:
