Exchange 2003 SP2. Yes I know about that auto forward, but that could
break some internal process on an alert mailbox or something. We don't
have a problem with internal auto forwarding, but forwarding to external
accounts is what we are trying to prevent.

I'm having a strange problem that started yesterday. I haven't been

I've got some that won't do user authentication, and I set them up with
a From: address that wasn't in one of my authoritative domains (or a
real domain for that matter), and then pointed it to one of my Exchange
hub servers as it's mail host.
The Exchange server won't act as an open relay, so
