Out of curiosity did you perform the updates?
I received a lot of crashes only after performing the updates. I ended
up going back to the stock installation and the crashes went away.

Any clue? Another list perhaps?

Hello All,
I'm having some difficulty with an application that uses GnuPG because I
don't know what the pass phrase is.
I installed GnuPG as a standard rpm file so the key is Mandrakesoft.
I've read the man page and have attempted to change the password but I'm
stumped when asked for the secr

Hi,
I've gotten a couple random crashes, unreproducable, in the last few days,
mostly within KDE applications, and the debug output is shown below. From
what little I know, not helpful at all.

NetBEUI is a whole different protocol than tcp/ip and it has nothing to do
with tcp/ip. if you enable netbios over tcp/ip on the windows machine and
do ip fowarding on the mandrake box it will.

Is there a faster way to mark all mail in a fold as read than doing this:
edit -> select all messages
message-> set status to -> read
I know this may not look like much work, but I hate using drop down lists if
I can hotkey things. even a hot key to select all would be cool. I don't

The first thing to do is to create a mandrake boot disk since after
installing NT, NT will blow-off LILO. You can boot from the NT CD, install
on the partition, and then boot from the mandrake boot disk to restore LILO.

Dear all,
I need to install Windoze NT4 on my Linux (Mandrake 8.0) box :( I
already have a partition of 4Gb set aside for Windoze. What's the best
way to go about this - shall I boot into my Windoze partition and
install it there? Or, can I go into Linux and install Windoze on the
partition there
OMG I did F...F...F..Foul! up that first part...
Gareth is completely right. Sorry again.

Just for info, when using a 255.255.255.128 netmask, the valid address
ranges are
192.168.1.0 Network Address
192.168.1.1-126 Host Address
192.168.1.127 Broadcast Address
192.168.1.128 Network Address

Hi... This is probably all my fault for confusing the issue, so I guess
that I will have to try and help clean it up :-)
If you are using something resembling my silly little setup, BOTH nics
need to be set up with 255.255.255.128 netmasks.
If you are using something more like what the wise ci
