You could also take a look at:

A friend of mine bought some NetGear ethernet cards, FA311 Fast
Ethernet PCI card, to be precise, and I'm trying to get one to
work on his linux box.
Its LM7.2 on the box, on a PII/200 w/32M ram.
The card comes with a disk with instructions on how to
make it work for Red Hat, so I tried them a

The example is correct but don't work.
- The 'holanda' user belongs to
the 'development' group.
- The 'smn' user belongs to 'development'
group.
- The 'holanda' user has a program called
'Container' with 06755 permisions, that hold files in the directory '/holanda'

Hi!
I have about 10 machines running mdk 7.2 (updated from 7.1) with RPM version
3.0.5 . In one of this machines I try to install rpm 4.0 from mdk 8, but it

So I update almost everything needed to install rpm (using rpm binaries from

I simply replaced my nic to 10MBits (was 100Mbits) and then all the pc's (my
workstation, router and firewall) became equal speed.
Thank you guys for quick and comprehensive explanations!
