Rumors that I have anything that even comes close to a clue are often over stated. :) One curiosity. I remember that when I installed kups and cups on my system cups-drivers somehow isn't installed by default. With 8.1 it is cups-drivers-1.1-15mdk. I do remember having a problem back with 7.2

in the firectory containing the fonts, there needs to be two extra files - fonts.dir and fonts.scale. The dir file is created by using mkfontdir THe scale is created using ttmkfdir and is needed by mkfontdir, so ttmkfdir needs to be run first. This is all assuming they are true type. Whats the

yeech, its not that hard. Heres how I did it.. Install and setup postfix.. (the defaults are fine for most, and all you need to is setup hostname and server name and stuff like that. piece of cake..) then install fetchmail, and as root run fetchmailconf (or do it manually if you are that way
