hopefully Konqueror will prove to be a better browser than KFM
is. Good luck on the sound card.

VernI've used the desktop update icon extensively in

installing 7.0 every time I've checked there's been nothing to
update.
I believe I'd uninstall all three netscape rpms and then hand
install the new ones. You can do this on the comma
I have used update with 6.1 with no problems but I suspect that update had some
difficulty with the rpm name. Your previous version of netscape was
netscape-common-.rpm and the new crypto version is netscape-128-common-.rpm

Hello Alan,
Thanks for the reply, I tried that and it said "you don't seem to
have netscape installed" so not only did it not update netscape it must
have destroyed my old netscape, or at least renamed it where nothing
can find it. Do I need to download netscape again and try to reinsta
Verntry opening a console window (the monitor icon on the
panel at the bottom of the screen) and typing netscape. If it
doesn't execute, it should give you an error message. You could
also type netscape-navigator and/or netscape-communicator and
see if they act any differently.
