Congratulations, Elizabeth. Good for you, for your own sake and the sake of
your kitties. Think of them snuggling with you whenever you're tempted.

The easy way out has a bad reputation.
Why would anyone take the hard way out?

Do you have a link on where to buy this clamp? Or could you get the
info from your
vet? I'll add it to my website in the sub-Q section.

Yeah, it's been outlined on the CRF website for years now, it's called the
"clothespin technique".

I would remove the blind eye if your vet thinks he would be strong enough
for the surgery, it's pointless to keep a source of pain which serves no
purpose other than to create pain. Blind cats really do very well, I know
you don't want it to come to that, but blind and comfortable would be

I used the clothes pin trick with Fred while he was getting used to
subq's. He would bite me so I put three or four, even up to five
clothes pins on his scruff anf he couldn't turn enough to bit me. He

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
Junior peed this morning a good amount, so I knew that was not his problem

Hi all just wanted to ask for healing prayers for these wonderful boys.Marley
my beautiful fuzzy black boy is under the weather yet again and Ambrose a very
handsome Hurricane Katrina survivor is not feeling well. And Yule one of our new

Thanks, Phaewryn and Karen. I've actually noticed warm paws on one of
our negs who is otherwise very healthy, so I think I was jumping the
gun on worrying about fever with Ember. She has had some diarrhea
over the last two weeks, so I've been a bit more sensitive about
things like possible
Kerry,
I'm saddened to hear that you are going through this again so soon
after your beloved Bandy passed on. I'll be praying for you. I hope
that, as time goes on, your days will brighten, and that the love you
had for them, and they for you, will comfort you always.

This is a bit long...but I felt it was important and needed to be
addressed. If you have time..and especially if you smoke - I hope you will
take the time to read this.
I am here to confess that I have been a horrible mommy to my cats.
Oh my heart has been in the right place -- I love them all
That is amazing!

It is a Long Island Cheese, a very long keeping winter squash/pumpkin. I did
not notice any mold on it. I did scrub it b4 cooking. I also gave him half
an amoxicillin my vet told me it causes mucus which helps with elimination.
He peed well today. I had moved his litter box the utility room a week
