I'm a bit puzzled by the question. For me, both TGTools and Patterson Plug-Ins windows
stay where I put them. That is, they always open at the last place I closed them
(assuming I hit OK). I know a little more about Patterson plugins than TGTools. Do any
of your other PPI settings fail to save?

Sure. And if you don't have Acrobat, some of the other suggestions
will work just fine. I just use Acrobat for it. Once you have your
.pdf files, you can certainly open them on any other computer and print
them to your liking.

You need to download and install BOTH GhostScript AND the appropriate version

One work-around I have used in situations where the printing didn't work
in Classic is this:
Save as PDF, and then open the PDF in Acrobat Reader or even in Preview, and

I thought of doing that. Wouldn't it then be possible to email it to my PC

Is there a way to change the default place where plug-in windows (Mass
Copy, Align/Move, etc.) appear on the screen? Every single time I open
them up I have to drag them around to my preferred positions. And no,
File > Save > Save Special... won't do it this time.
Can this be done?

There is a much more up-to-date Ghostscript port for Mac, called
MacGhostView, which includes a separate drag and drop app for converting PS

You can find it through www.versiontracker.com, I haven't got the page at

In preparation for moving, I'm throwing out a lot of old junk. Among the
books headed for the recycle bin are my old Finale manuals. These are left

Good point. The USB still works fine without the software, and I can do
