many probably know this already, but for those who don't, you can
speed things up and eliminate much of the screen redraw when copying
across measures by reducing the width (and height if you like) of the
screen as much as possible, so that only the beginning of the target
measure is seen (opt-

Problem solved. I thought I'd checked the lyrics last night, but somehow
two extra hyphens (with no text attached to them) had snuck into the lyrics
between words.

i was looking for a way to auto-combine tied notes into a single

Hi Allen,
Actually, now that I think of it, I was probably in the Measure tool
when I quit. I was trying to increase the width of a measure, but the
Measure tool wasn't working -- I couldn't select anything.

Hi Allen,
I don't know if this helps, but...
I had the File Overwrite bug bite me again. However, this is the first
time I've had the contents of a score replaced by the contents of a
file that was *not* a part generated from that score. The file whose
contents overwrote my score was actually

Be aware that some of your PCI cards may not work. When I upgraded to
a G5 I had to send my M-Audio PCI card off to get it "upgraded" at a
cost of £50.
To quote from a sound on sound article on PCI:

More the instances, bigger the buffer. Buffer size is usually determined

I made this transition rather painlessly. If you have an older MIDI keyboard, you will need a MIDI to USB interface (and the appropriate downloadable driver. M - Audio makes inexpensive good ones - maybe $30 - 50). However, new (also relatively inexpensive) MIDI keyboards have outputs
It depends on what the peripherals are and how they're connected. I

The only extra bit of hardware I needed to buy was a simple USB MIDI
