Hi Chuck, The problem does not occur with Finale 2006c, or 2005 for that matter. And, as I said, it did not happen with 2007a or 2007b. Deleting the measure number region and creating one from scratch left me with the same problem. I wish now I had stayed with 2007b! Thanks for your help.
