In Fin2008, you can use keyboard shortcuts to expand and contract a selection. So if you've got both 8ths of the 3rd beat selected, do Shift-left arrow and then do Shift-right arrow twice, and you'll wind up with the second 8th selected. The reason for the left and then right is that the

I've kind of given up on MakeMusic support. Their SmartMusic support sucks. They haven't lived up to ANY of the promises of that program, like 60 new titles a month. Hello MakeMusic, it's been like 3 months now? They can't even fix SIMPLE problems in that program, like having columns populated
