There's a big analysis of this piece by Richard Toop (a well-known

english version of it as well, but I don't know where.

Dear Steven,
I'm not sure how to help you proceed. I have an M-Audio keyboard

nothing helpful to add, but didn't want you to think your situation

For me it comes down to, How much is my time worth?. TG Tools saves me
so much time that I think it's quite a bargain. And just when I want to
do something I've never done before and ask here, someone says
TGToolsTheTool and now I am saving even more time.

Hi Jari,
Thanks -- very helpful. I will definitely be consulting with the

If the problem persists outside Finale, then it isn't a Finale
problem. (also, I doubt the conclusion about Finale 2006 not seeing
the O8. That shouldn't matter, as USB to MIDI conversion takes place
outside Finale.)
Most obvious things first.
Are you sure it's on? (sorry, I had to ask.
Is there a way to convert Sibelius files into Finale files? I forget
how if I once knew.

Depending on what you want to transfer over, you can transfer via
midi, or MusicXML.
I'm sure that guy who does the MusicXML will do an ad for his thing
sortly. I find it's easier to just transfer things via midi.

Music XML is best but you will have to buy the Dolet for Sibelius (about
$120). Printing the Sib file and then scanning might be a better
solution than MIDI.
