[Finale] Missing Layer Selection Controls and page turner arrows

I am using Finale 2005 for Windows, on an XP machine. My Layer Selection Controls and Page turner arrows at the bottom left of the screen have suddenly disappeared. I'm sure I must have clicked something simple by mistake, but have no idea what it could be; I've gone through all the toolbars
