I'm using FinMac2010b.r1 and Bill Duncan's templates.
I'm having a strange problem with measure numbers in multi-measure
rests. Here is what happens when I generate linked parts. There are two
sets of measure numbers: one for the multi-measure rest and one for
measure one:
Is there something simple I'm missing?
you mean like an explanation of what you want or don't want? 8-)
the only SC/PTs diff seems to be hide 1st m# in region on/off
you have defined to have on ALL measures AND on all mm rests, what
you see is 100% correct according to your settings.

can't say off the top of my head if it will help but maybe try doing
it via the layout tool with the measure(s) to delete constrained to a
single system, then delete/add system from layout menu.

except that I would not delete the measures, but rather hide

just counterproductive, no matter how quick you can do what you
describe. imagine doing that for an entire orch set of parts. ouch.
