As others have already explained, this is indeed possible. However, in my experience, it is far too much trouble to bother. Just make a copy of the score file, use that only for the parts (you don't need to extract them). This way you have two files per piece, which is still better than 15+ whe

The only way I have been able to accomplish this, using Fin2K7, is to turn on Layer 4 when printing parts and turn it off again when printing the score. It's a kludge, but it accomplishes what you want. Go to Layer Options in Finale Preferences and check or uncheck the box that says show

I can't answer your question but if I may comment - as a conductor I like to know exactly what is cued into the other parts. Maybe this is because I conduct mainly youth and amateur groups where there is the possibility that cues may need to be played. For professional performances I sup
