Pizz on that B harmonic is nearly inaudible even to the violinist, so I
would definitely file that idea under "impractical". You can write the
normal pizz on the high B, and assuming you have an entire violin section
playing forte, you will get something. It's hard to say how effective it
will be

pizz high up on the E string. Not only doesn't it sound good (zero
resonance, and hard to even tell what the pitch is), but it's physically
somewhat uncomfortable as well. Plucking a very taut, thin metal string
hurts!

Yeah, I found a (single) example in Bartok Music for String Perc Celeste of
a C above that, but it is also doubled an octave lower (in the context of a
full string section pizz chord).
I would love to find others.
