[Finale] Problem with Extract parts

Have any of you had the following problem? I've opened an older score (FinMac 2010) in FinMac 2012. Converts fine. I choose Extract Parts In the dialog window only 3 of the 8 parts are listed. The Score Manager lists them all. Data CheckFile maintenance does too. But Manage Parts lists only the 3

Just tried this with a file originally created in Fin2006. All the parts were listed in score manager but none in manage parts, as expected. Is it not just a case of clicking generate parts to create a new set? I appreciate that this will lose any formatting changes you've made to your original

The Score Manager only lists the STAVES, not the parts. A part can have one staff, or many staves, or two different parts can use the same staff. Extract Parts works only on parts that have already been created, in other word, they appear in the DocumentEdit Parts list. To create a part for
