can't install system-ghostscript because it requires gs 7.05. So i
can't install all the Fink's packages that require gs. Installing
ghostscript 7.05 from fink will hide gs 8.0 (because the different

I think the issue is a combination of a couple of things.
1. If there's news like WATCH OUT FOR VIREX! IT WILL BREAK YOUR
SYSTEM!, it shouldn't get rolled off because of a news item asking for

When updating fink from cvs an hour ago, I got :
ln -s 10.3 /sw/fink/dists
Reading package info...
Error performing percent expansion: unknown % expansion or nesting too
deep: %n-dev. at /sw/lib/perl5/Fink/Services.pm line 549.
And any command like 'fink rebuild foo' yields the same msg.

I created a new version of scripts to build a binary distribution for

Hi,
Yes, thanks a lot for Fink. We download all our packages through
fink. Both the system as well as my personal computer's package
management is through fink.
Please keep up the good work.

I forgot all about dryrun. This sounds like a great thing for somebody
