I had emacs21 installed and it seemed to being OK. Then I went through the process of upgrading to experimental CVS version of fink for 10.2 When I got to the "cvs update-all" stage, it said emacs21 needed updating. However the update fails with: > ./emacs -q -batch -f list-load-path-shadows

I just installed 10.2, and then removed mozilla and reinstalled it and recompiled. (fink remove mozilla, fink install mozilla) Now mozilla doesn't work (though X, emacs, xterm, etc. seem to work fine). When I start mozilla, a browser window comes up, but then disappears after about 5 seconds.

I've been trying to use fink to install gv, xdvi, and some other programs that want to install type1inst-0.6.1. Fink goes to ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/X11/xutils/ to get the gzipped tar file. The problem (I think) is that sunsite.unc.edu changed and the ipaddress is no longer valid

The file mpmulti.sty is from the beta version of ppower4. Fink installs the release version of ppower4, not the beta version. (The beta version is newer, but has not been tested on Mac OS X.) It's not surprising that the mpmulti.sty file fails, since it needs the newer version. -- Dave ---
