My main reason to use fink is to have xemacs, which I use as the only true editor for (La)TeX files. This has been a happy combination for a long time. Recently, following the acquisition of a new dual-G4 machine that came with 10.2.1 installed, I have rebuilt fink from the jaguar instruction
