Hello fink team,
I received the following message, requesting a list of installed
packages and including a shell-script to do this. I have no
objection, but I'd like to hear from a member of the fink team who's
unconnected with Todai that the project leaders have no objection
also.

I just packaged libpaper 'cause something else wanted it, should I make
a conf file/set a default in the package?

Hello,
I just updated the xpdf package to 3.00-16 (on MacOS 10.3.9,

Everything is almost ok, but I get an annoying error, no matter
whether I use xpdf, pdfinfo, or pdffonts:

Dear fink users,
The Todai Fink Team has a project to build a website to find open
source softwares. (Roughly speaking, yet another freshmeat.)
We want to survey how often each package is insalled. If possible,
please send the list of your installed packages to

Greetings
I have installed Eye of GNOME and everything seems to finish up in good order except there are a number of messages at the very end of Fink Commander's output that say eog is unable to register some files. All the files seem to end in .omf. Searching shows that these are files used by

Yes, specifically:
% ls -l /sw/lib/libintl.3.dylib
lrwxr-xr-x1 root admin 19 Sep 6 23:09
/sw/lib/libintl.3.dylib -> libintl.3.4.1.dylib

Hi,
At long last, I made the leap to Tiger (all the way from Jaguar).
I started from scratch and reinstalled everything; everything fink went
extremely smoothly. :-)
I do have a question, though: I installed python23, but didn't get a
/sw/bin/python, which is usually a link to /sw/bin/python2.
I've some problems (timeout) when try to install Evolution2.2 from the
Novell's website, then I'll try to install via fink.
There is a repository where I can find it?
Tkz a lot (and sorry for the ougly english)
