Guys, you're both missing something.
1. It has nothing to do with DDEX.
2. If you're using FbConnection in design time, you're doing something
wrong (and why are you even using DDEX?). This way was OK in .NET 1.1
and time before, not now.
2.1. The design time support has been dropped (deprecated)
