Hi,
I too use a Wintec with a wide tree. One of my mares actually doesn't need
the wide tree so I change it. That is not as easy as advertised, but can be
done. I have the all purpose saddle, not the dressage.

Hi Terrance,
Welcome to the Fjord list. Congratulations on your new Fjord!
I can tell you that I use a Wintec saddle with a wide tree on my fjord.
It fits him well. It's a dressage saddle so it doesn't have any long
skirts to interfere with his hip.

I'm new to the list and a new fjord owner.
I have a question on saddle type. What works best on these horses? I am using
a wide bar full quarter horse saddle and it just rolls around. Not enough

I'm sure a correct fitting tree could be made if one isn't already
available. Then a saddle of the style, decoration and color could be
constructed on this tree. Most premade saddles are made to fit the majority

saddle? What is the tree made of and what kin of leather is it? Are key
