There may be an "easy" way to get plain current axis but rendered inside the
series area, ie not having to use drawing api for axis with labels and
avoiding rewrite those getminmax, getlabels (with droplabels, etc) methods.

Try using the gutterLeft, gutterRight, gutterTop, and gutterBottom styles on
the chart itself. If you set those you can control how many pixels are used
for the axes. You can also play with the font size and rotation of the
labels on the axis renderers you use.

How are you loading the data? I'd imagine that you're probably using some
sort of array population method as opposed to just re-assigning the
dataProvider. Make sure you use DataProvider methods like addItemAt, etc.
