Looks like the VFO Lock painting fix missed the boat as 1.3.7 is not
painting the button yellow when enabled. Is listed as fixed in the change
log, but definitely not in the code.

Hi Bob,
I see in the new code I added for immediate reads I am not signalling
an event that I should be signalling. If the write buffer gets full,
this has the potential to cause the write thread to go into a wait
forever state (or until the system is rebooted).
This makes sense since you were u
For those with amplifiers and transverters, on TX <-> RX transitions
the "pop" is back. I was afraid of that. I will get on the
oscilloscope later to figure it out.

Phil,
I don't know if I have found a bug or if it is something I may have caused.
Here is what happened:
I installed and tested build 110 and had it working fine with Commander,
MixW, and Digipan. I was in the process of debugging some new code for the
CAT commands against Commander (which I had

Yes, Stan, you are exactly right...it will support both vCOM to TCP/IP
and vCOM to vCOM without modification to the driver. Basically I just
need to write the user mode TCP/IP server/listener.

Thanks for the feedback.
Although I get lost in the details of the driver stuff, I think that Phil's
concept seems like a great extension and generalization of the current
virtual comm approach. If I read it correctly, it would support VComm<->TCP
as well as the current VComm<->VComm approach.

The Lantronix redirector uses a user mode application (the TCP/IP
part) that talks to its virtual com port driver via a custom file
device I/O something like the IRCOMM2k serial to IR driver's IR device
part.
We should be able to come up with an equivalent scheme using the vCOM
driver AS IS. The u

Stan,
Looks like a very interesting utility, unfortunately (after reading the
legal stuff on their website) it is proprietary code and doesn't fit in with
the open source philosophy of the SDR-1000. Wish it were different since it
looks like exactly what I need for a current project.

I have recently come across an free product that can provide multiple

Don't know how we missed that one.
