[Flexradio] Flex running on hp2133 netbook

2008-11-25 Thread Paul20
I have noticed lately that more and more notebooks seem to be lacking firewire ports and was looking for something small to run the Flex 5000. Most of the little netbooks come with 4 x usb ports..so when I saw that the HP 2133 had an expresscard slot..I decided to get one to play with. I

Nothing is wrong with the 1000 VAC support. It is only the Direct I/Q Output to VAC that we are concerned with. I implemented support only in Callback2, which is the 5000 support. Therefore the 1000 is not supported at this time. I haven't looked into whether the 1000 could be supported or not,

Sharing the I/Q audio input between PowerSDR and CWS as described in the KB article appears to be a great solution for 1000 users! Rick, have you tried this? Ed -Original Message- From: Tim Ellison [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, November 24, 2008 8:06 PM To: [EMAIL

Ed: I understand much better now. I see no impediment to adding the changes you made to Callback 2 to Callback1 other than the ones you have alluded to. I have loaned out my SDR-1000's to the state of Maryland and the junk box. I don't even have the high end sound cards in my computer any

I notice in the Keyboard Mapping File that you should be able to send the cw memories via the F1 - F5 keys. If this is possible how can it be done? Thanks Jim K4JAF ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz

Paul, Good deal on the little laptop.. System resources will be rather tight on that laptop, the panadapter uses alot of HW acceleration which your system will need to make for in SW, and the process does not have much for L2 cache, this is another hit.. You can lower the CPU rate by

Art, I presume you mean PTT through EasyPal? You need Com0Com running and setup the PTT section of PowerSDR and EasyPal to communicate to each associated com port. http://kc.flex-radio.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50078.aspx then in the EasyPal Initial Program Setup, set your associated com port
