Dave,
I think that you might have missed the point, with VAC, PowerSDR will
deliver the audio to and from the radio directly to the Skype
program... So set the output of PowerSDR to Virtual 2 => Skype
input, Virtual 2, then the input of PowerSDR, Virtual 1, => Skype
output, Virtual 1.
Tim,
thank you for your continued support ,,you truely are the back bone
of this forum,
I'm going to rip the motherboard and cpu P4 ,3gig out of this pc and replace
ithave you any prefference when it comes to motherboards regarding BUS
speeds L2 cache etc etc or is anything new
Under settings-display-refresh rate is a new feature called "Fill Panadapter".
Instead of single line on the panadapter it now will fill everything below the
line with the same color.
Fun to play around with. Sort of like the Icom displays on the 756 series.

It may not be buffer settings. It may be very long duration DPCs that are
causing the problems. These can be checked with DPCLAT

It sounds like you have the sound card incorrectly configured with Skype. It
needs to be a VAC cable.

Well I just fixed my own problem by plugging in something into the mic in
jack on the computer. Now I can connect via Skype. Does the VAC supply
audio from the flex to skype or do I still have to do
that via a cable from the audio of the skype to the mic input of the
computer. Because without the
I have had my Flex SDR working with skype with no problems. I just installed
VNC so I could finish up my remote setup and now when I try to connect via
skype it tells me user can only recieve IMS. But if I
Close out the Flex SDR program it will then let skype connect. Any
suggestions???

I have been trying to get my Imac to work with the SDR 1000, it sort
of works but has audio drop out frequently.
I'm using XP SP2 with the Firewire Hot Fix for the SP2 Pack.
In a word the performance sucks !
I have changed the band width the buffers etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

Dave,
RX2 can only connect to ANT1 directly unless you are using the RX1 Tap on
the antenna selection.

What property of the Space Navigator enables it to retain its focus on PSDR???
Could this property be transferred to PSDR enabling other commercially
available and home-brewed input devices to work in the same way.

To all,
The fix for CAT not being able to assert PTT (TX), which broke the usability of
a lot of digi mode programs, has been posted to the SVN trunk. This code is
more stable than the SVN test which does contain alpha code.
For those needing this fix, it is recommended that you use the SVN tr

SVN has lots of different sections. Which one are you using. The SVN number
is not associated with a particular section, like the trunk or /branches/test

Yes, but that method described below is flawed and does not accurately tell you
what the "actual" speed that the host controller and the Firewire device are
communicating. It just tells you what Windows "thinks" it should be. A lot of
