I uninstalled the old firewire driver and loaded the new one. . I then
followed the procedure to see the status. Compatibility good however the
sidspeed registry entry is missing . Resolution? Art w1rzf

Please refer to my post last night on this issue. Here it is again.
The SID speed warning is not an error and will not prevent you from using your
FLEX-x000.
The warning is listed because you are using XP SP3 and you do not have the
Microsoft Hot fix 955408 installed.
To remove the warning

Mike,
The topic you posted to the FlexRadio User Reflector contains subject

Hi guys,
Does anyone have a suggestion for the best way to get audio from my audio
rack into the Flex 3000? I previously was going into the mic socket via a
modified Cat5 network cable, however because the wires are so tiny they keep
breaking. I was thinking of going in via the rear port on the
Use the FlexWire connector.
Refer to page 7 of the FLEX-3000 Owner's manual for the pinouts.

That is a very good point, Dave. An isolation transformer is also a best
practice.

I am currently running an i-box in line which is the isolatioin

Ok I might give the rear flex port a go so I can upgrade the cabling to
something more substancial than Cat5 network cable!

Just one additional point. The FlexWire A/F input does not have the 20 dB gain
audio preamp, so you will have to compensate for the lower gain.

It should be fine. You may have to optimize it by removing the bloatware that
Dell loads on their machines.

Anthony,
You are obviously more agressive than I am. I suppose there might have
been a time when I would have simply replaced the CAT5 network cable

Hi,
Is anyone out there using the N1MM logger with PowerSDR? I'd like to give
it a try but can't find much on it.
What I can find indicates that some kind of virtual serial port setup is
needed to implement rig control and references something called vCOM. Are
people still using this? Is

The following is a reprint from an email that Ray, K9DUR so kindly

Ran the Flex Radio (driver) program and ran the compatibility scan.
