So funny. I recall sitting here on day one trying to work out why the Yaesu

PTT. It was the same issue you just had.
We've all been there.

There is a tool available to backup and restore sections from the DB.
http://k9dur.rnaconsultingservices.com/SDRDataTransfer.aspx
You can use this to backup and restore your settings when you do a database
reset.
Pretty self explanatory when you load it up.

This may be worth looking at. I have used the Restore Data from EEPROM to
Database in the past to fix issues that seem to have been
caused by database corruption.

I have had to reset the database once already to fix a problem with the
panadapter. I then had to reapply all the settings, the only reason why I
didn't do that again was I didn't know I could back up the database ( new
kid on the block)let me see if I can find where to back it up and try
that
Have you tried backing up and then resetting the database?

Eddie, I'll keep my reply short and simple, as I know others will reply to

This is a little off topic for this forum, however, the average age of
you, the ham operator, is climbing. It needs to be moving the other way.
You can make this happen by introducing youth to the hobby and maybe
even donating your old rig that is collecting dust to those new
operators to use

I was struck by two things at the show yesterday.
